Mission
As a basketball skills trainer, my mission is to close the gap from where you are as a player, to where you want to be. I do this by individualizing each workout and focus only on drills and situations that simulate game scenarios. No other gimmicks. I start by assessing the areas you feel your game needs the most work, and move on once those fundamentals and skills have been mastered. I am open to working with all ages of players, both boys and girls, who share the same passion for the game and the desire to learn and grow as I do. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
About Me
I graduated from Appleton East High School in 2016. There I started on the varsity basketball team for three years and also played baseball. I chose to go to UW-Madison where I graduated in 2020 with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Business. While at Madison, I switched gears and relentlessly studied the game as I was disappointed my hard work in high school didn't translate to a basketball scholarship, and decided to then help other players reach their goals. I was able to receive amazing mentorship from many high level high school coaches as well as NBA skills trainer Reid Ouse. I have now personally worked with hundreds of players including elementary, middle and high school players, as well as college and pro players. This includes helping Reid work with Golden State Warriors star Andrew Wiggins, among others. Similarly, I have been fortunate enough to have worked with the Appleton East Girls Varsity team, the Milton Boys Program, the Waunakee Girls Program, the Verona Boys Program, as well as the Kimberly Boys Varsity team. I truly love the game of basketball and am so thankful for the opportunities it has provided me, and hope to share that same passion with you!

Training Staff:
Austin Carlson: Austin is in his Junior year at Edgewood College and plays for the men’s basketball team. Austin is from the small town of Pecatonica, Illinois (which is close to the Rockford area) where he trained youth and advanced players for the entirety of last summer. From working with Austin myself, I can tell you he's a true gym rat, knows the game and is extremely detail oriented. His playing and training experience will provide immense value for all of those he works with. He stated, "I have learned a lot about the area and the basketball players within it. I am beyond excited to start to get to know you all and grow not only as basketball players, but also grow as individuals."

Immanuel Oby: Immanuel or "Oby" for short, is from Madison and has an extensive playing career. Oby played at Madison East for high school and UW-Baraboo and Concordia Chicago for his college playing career. Oby also spent two years playing overseas in London and currently plays on the Madison Mavericks Semi-pro team. His playing accolades coupled with his training experience in both the private setting around Madison, and as a point guard college (PGC) coach will add a unique perspective for all those he works with. His caring demeanor and love for the game are hard to find anywhere else!

Isaiah Wright: Isaiah is from Racine, WI and is currently a Junior at Edgewood College. Isaiah played hoops at state contender Racine Case in high school and played his first two seasons at Edgewood for his collegiate career before deciding to focus on school and sharing his knowledge of the game with others. He was also a standout volleyball player at Racine Case. Isaiah has experience coaching middle school basketball and has helped with large group basketball camps with youth players through Golden Touch Basketball Academy. I am fortunate enough to have worked with Isaiah during his playing days and his work ethic and knowledge of the game are extremely impressive! We are excited to add Isaiah to our staff and I look forward to watching him positively impact the next generation of players on and off the court!
